Day 13- "Yep I helped hire her!"

The first time I met this friend I actually was interviewing her for her job.  It was kind of crazy because I really wanted her to join the team but I wasn't the deciding factor.  I remember one of the other people in the interviewing process wasn't completely sold, but I saw huge potential!  I wasn't sure if it was because she was a former teacher like me, or what, but I just knew she as going to be great!

I turned out to be right!  Not only that, but we became super close at work.  We started with a few happy hours which turned into going out and just having a great time!  Now we continue to go out with our other friend Nadia once a month and have a wonderful time.

She has been there for so many different things for me.  Through the ups and downs of work and my social life, I've always been able to talk to her.  We've bonded over lunch break walks and for our passion getting things done at work.  She is hard working and probably one of the sweetest girls I've ever met.

I am so happy that she was hired on at work and that she has been in my life for so long!  I love that she is my coworker and that we can work well together while still maintaining a great friendship.
