A day in the life....: Day 1- Featured Friend- "A running pal become so much more"

The first time I really met this friend she was presenting the products for her side job. I didn't know her, but knew of her name. I worked in the same building as her and had been at mutual events, but I never really had talked to her before. The presentation was fun and I enjoyed getting to know everyone at the party including her.

I had to leave early because I had volleyball that night, so I had asked her for her contact information so that I would be able to order something. I didn't think much of it and just went about my days after my order was placed.

She came to my desk one day for the delivery of my order and we talked a bit. I remembering enjoying the conversation and thinking, I could be friends with this girl.

From there, things just kind of naturally came into play. We became Facebook friends. We realized we had a lot of similar friends and a lot of similar interests. Soon we were planning to run together! We met up for our first race together in late 2010 and realized that we had about the same pace and it was fun to run together.

From there, there were pub crawls, birthdays, St. Patrick's day and even another run. We are going to do the Warrior Dash this summer and have an awesome plan with my sister on our training! I'm looking forward to learning and spending more time with this person, because, frankly, she is awesome!
