Day 2: "A neighbor that shares the passion of beer!"

My friend for day two is also a newer friend, but actually I've known him for quite some time.  When I first got my dog I was walking her around the block and I met this friend's wife.  (She of course is also my friend and will be featured later this month.)  Their dog and my dog got along extremely well!  In fact, they are still best of friends.  Anyway, back to the my friend on day two...

He and I discovered in the past year or so that we have a shared love of beer.  We started bonding over pale ales, brown ales and other interesting beers from breweries around the world.  Our first brewery tour was at Flat Earth Brewery in St. Paul and I realized then I was truly one of the guys.  Since then, this friend and I have bonded over making beer (even though he did all of it! I only rolled oats!).  We also have great chats and discuss our love of different beers.  Every time we go to a liquor store we try to pick up a different beer that we hadn't tried before and then share it with each other.

The second to last time we hung out I decided that I was going to make a cool mosaic out of beer caps and give it to him.  He is pretty excited, as am I!  The best part is we all get to drink different beers to make this mosaic something awesome.

This friend is a keeper and I am glad we are neighbors!
