Day 25- "Can I play my little ponies?"

This next friend has been in my life since I was five years old.  We met in Kindergarten and became pretty good friends.  We would play on the playground and chase boys.  She would invite me over to her house for lunch and we would have playdates.  It was so much fun having her as my closed friend in elementary school.  We played barbies, my little ponies, etc.  It was always fun when we were together.  Throughout elementary, grade school and junior high, we remained friends.  Yet, it wasn't until high school where we became super close.

We both were in Cross Country together which sparked an ever lasting friendship.  Our crosss country team was like a family and we bonded with everyone.  Soon we were doing everything together with our friend Stephanie and others.  We would cruise the drag, crush about boys, hang out our friend's houses, go skiing, etc.  We just had a great time.

After high school this friend went to college in Washington and I went out to the east coast.  Yet, our friendship didn't halt.  We continued to keep in touch and hang out with each other when we were back in Montana together.  We've always kept each other in the loop about our lives and since Facebook have been able to keep in touch more often.

This past summer this friend had posted that she really wanted to go see DMB in Denver and I just commented on the post stating I would do it.  The next thing I knew, I was booking a trip to Denver to go to a weekend concert with her.  It was so much fun and I am really happy I did it.  We always seem to pick up where we left off and always have a great time together. I am very much looking forward to the next time we get to see each other!  She is just an awesome person and I am glad to call her a friend.  She is surely a forever friend!

Here's to you Stephanie!
