After we began the party I noticed that we were both enjoying a nice cold Newcastle beer. I mentioned that I went to school in Newcastle England and from there we hit if off. After the party we decided that we needed to hang out again and soon we were going to the Renaissance Festival, happy hour and even celebrated my birthday with a ton of Autumn's friends. (that's another story for another day)
We kind of lost touch after my birthday in 2006. I'm not too sure what made us loose touch but for whatever reason we did. About 6 months later I found myself working at Capella. This friend reached out to me to welcome me to the new place and I mentioned that we should get lunch soon!
We did and from there we re kindled our friendship. We spent lots of time going to happy hours, going out, spending holidays together extra. Throughout the years we've faded in and out of each other's lives but have always remained friends. My family considers him part of our family. (I even refer to him as my brother at times) He is a great person who will drop what he is doing and come and help you if need be. (Trust me, he really does, this has happened!) He is the friend you can always call to go out with and he will almost always accept the invitation if he is free. He is caring and really takes the time to listen, be supportive and above all show you how to always make the time fun. I am happy to call him a friend and am glad to call him my brother!
Here's to you Ryan!
