This friend is someone who I have only known for a few years but she has been a great friend to have around. We met at work and I started training her on processes within our department. Soon enough we were going out to happy hours! We didn't know then but we had started a monthly happy hour with another friend. It has been a blast getting to know her and be able to be there when she got engaged, had a baby, and soon I'll be going to her wedding!
She is kind, caring and always lends a ear to listen to you. Every Monday she asks how my weekend was, she asks about my family and boyfriend and just always seems to care about myself and my well being.
Not only is she caring but she is an extremely hard worker! She has gotten her masters through having a child, losing a grandparent and working full time. Not once did I ever hear her complain about anything. She always has a smile on her face and rarely complains. I am so thrilled that I have such a positive person in my life like this that I can call a friend. She is my inspiration and am happy we are friends.
